Motorists and members of the public are being advised that the front entrance to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security on North Street in Kingston will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to facilitate road closure for the State Funeral of the former Governor-General, Sir Howard Cooke.

Motorists are being asked to use the back entrance along Lockett Avenue in Kingston Gardens to gain entry to the Ministry’s compound.

Pedestrians will have access to the Ministry under police directions.
