The Full Story

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising that the printing of Driver’s Licenses has been suspended at the Montego Bay Revenue Service Centre (MBRSC), until further notice.
The temporary suspension of the Driver’s Licence printing has become necessary due to a malfunctioning equipment.

Persons are further advised that they may still visit the MBRSC to renew their licenses, pay and get their receipts. Motorists will be able to drive, using their receipt along with the expired licence, as is the case at the smaller tax offices that do not print Driver’s Licences.

These licences will be printed as soon as the equipment is available. Such persons will be contacted and directed when to collect their Driver’s Licences.

Tax Administration Jamaica apologises for the inconvenience and advises that it is working to have the matter resolved in the shortest possible time.
