The call centre training initiative
The Tourism Product Development Company TPDCO is undertaking several projects on the island’s south coast. These are aimed at beautifying the island’s south coast as well as to creating employment for Jamaicans. One such project is the beautification of Milk River and its environs in Clarendon. The National Solid Waste Management Authority NSWMA has responsibility for implementation.

The National Solid Waste Management Authority –NSWMA- is carrying out improvement works in the Portia Simpson Miller square, also known as Three Miles in South West St Andrew.
Residents of the Monaltrie community in South East St. Andrew will soon have access to a newly constructed community centre. Construction work on the Community centre got underway in mid January and is scheduled for completion by the end of March.

Work to clear the bushing in the area was carried out by the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation, KSAC through an initiative administered by the Jamaica Emergency Employment Programme, JEEP.
