The 800 students at Penwood High School in St. Andrew, are now benefitting from a recent infrastructure upgrade with the School now boasting a new state-of the-art information and communications technology (ICT) Centre. Students of Richmond Park Primary School in North Central Clarendon will soon be able to travel in comfort to and from school. This as the Japanese Government has provided the school with grant funding towards the purchase of a 29-seater Coaster bus. Norman Manley High School, named in honour of the island’s first and only Premier and National Hero, the Right Excellent Norman Washington Manley, is celebrating its golden jubilee. A yearlong series of activities in recognition of the milestone was launched in September at the institution’s location in Maxfield Avenue, Kingston with the release of 50 balloons featuring the school’s colours – blue and green. Tarrant High School in Kingston is positioning its students to take advantage of jobs in the areas of robotics, programming and animation.
