By 2030 its projected that 60% of Jamaicans will live in urban areas. What does that mean for us when urban populations are already outgrowing the infrastructure and public services like water supply and green spaces, originally designed to support them?
Well the government is not waiting to find out. Urban renewal is high on the development agenda, and Portfolio Minister Pearnel Charles Jr recently outlined some of the initiatives being pursued in this area.
