If you are a public passenger vehicle, PPV operator, then you may not always be able to find the time to get off the roads and do your own business, like going to the doctor. But Health promotion and Education Officer for the Westmoreland Health department Dorcia Scott Bowlin says especially for male drivers, it is important for them to do health checks particularly for prostate cancer. Mrs. Bowlin says a survey conducted last year among PPV Operators in the parish showed that the majority do not make time to visit the doctor for checkups.
