Through its efforts to create, organize, and advance scientific research and innovation, the Scientific Research Council (SRC) continues to help foster the spirit of scientific inquiry across Jamaica. Executive Director, Dr. Charah Watson, believes science, technology, and innovation must be play a central role if Jamaica is to prosper in the modern world. This philosophy underlines the various initiatives implemented by the Council geared at spark a passion for science in people of all ages, especially primary and secondary school students.
