Autism Spectrum Disorder is a developmental condition that affects communication, social interaction, and behaviour patterns.

Some children may focus intensely on details, react differently to sensations, or find transitions challenging.  While characteristics can appear in early childhood, many children are not diagnosed until later.  According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, about 1 in 100 children are on the autism spectrum.  So, what does their experience look like in the classrooms?
