The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ mental health and suicide prevention Helpline is now up and running. The helpline went live on Monday. It was launched as part of the Ministry’s “Speak up, Speak now” campaign, aimed at ending the stigma associated with mental illness. Portfolio Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton says the helpline will be manned 24-hours per day by professional psychologists who will provide appropriate levels of advice.
