The Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston is to be used as an extension of the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) as part of the Government’s effort to bolster the public health system to deal with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This follows an agreement between the operators of the privately run hospital and the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dunstan Bryan, says the agreement will enable KPH to treat more COVID-19 cases.
