Period poverty refers to the issue of women and girls not having adequate access to menstrual hygiene items and information, and believe it or not this is a growing concern in Jamaica. To tackle the issue the Her Flow organization in partnership with Always Sanitary napkins is providing girls with feminine hygiene products and information on the menstrual cycle.
