Police Commissioner, Major General Antony Anderson, says heightened security measures will be rolled out in major towns and commercial areas heading into the Festive season. Major General Anderson says Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Divisional Commanders have been given a mandate to concentrate their efforts in these areas, while also focusing on gangs, guns and criminal leaders also known as dons, over the next two months. A 27-member quick response motorcycle team will also start operations in and around Montego Bay, St. James. The team will be replicated in other areas.
