Prime Minister Andrew Holness has announced that members of the construction industry are to be included in the relevant exemption schedules under the Disaster Risk Management Act. Mr. Holness says the necessary amendments will be made to the act to allow persons in the industry to move around during the period of the curfew once they are going to do their duties on construction sites. He adds that persons working on construction sites are still required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Contractors must also provide the necessary sanitization stations for workers.
