The temporary extension for party lock offs during the Christmas period may go longer than initially planned. Minister of Local Government and Community Development, Desmond McKenzie, says the Government is reviewing the short-term measure and will take a decision in the coming weeks. In the meantime, he is calling on party-goers and promotors to honor the terms of the extension efforts made by the Government. Under the temporary adjustment, the government extended event activities to 2:00 a.m. during the week and 4:00 a.m. on weekends.
