The all-island curfew has been extended by an additional 14 days 6, as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise. Delivering an update during the COVID-19 Press Conference at Jamaica House on Monday, Prime Minister Andrew Holness said the measure became necessary as the country is now on the brink of community spread. The curfew extension took effect on Wednesday April 22 and continues until May 6. It will run for 12 hours each day.
