Saturday and Night Court Sittings Resume

Should you find yourself with a legal matter in the country’s highest court, the Court of Appeal, you can now expect the process to go through much more efficiently than before. The Court of Appeal is now boasting improved operations and performance, thanks to its Differentiated Case Management (DCM) system.    

Saturday and Night Court sittings have resumed to help address the backlog of almost 400,000 outstanding traffic tickets cases.

The House of Representatives, on Tuesday, approved the Electronic Transactions (Amendment) Act 2023, which will, among other things, facilitate the acceptance of electronic signatures in the court system.
