Sanday Bay Health Centre Adopted

The Sandy Bay Health Centre in Hanover became the 50th facility to be adopted, under the Ministry of Health and Wellness Adopt a Clinic Initiative.

The story began many years ago when couple, James and Manuela Goren, visited Jamaica for the first time. Following many years of work on the island they decided to tangibly give back to a place they call ‘home away from home’.

The husband-and-wife team have adopted the facility through their Stella and Dolphi Goren Foundation covering the period 2023-2026, under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Their current investment in the facility is about $3 million
