As part of its efforts to sensitize members of the public about domestic abuse and related issues, the Bureau of Gender Affairs (BGA) recently rolled out its ‘No Excuse For Abuse campaign, recently hitting the ground in Papine.
Among other things the campaign involves sensitization sessions with targeted groups, the distribution of flyers, and staging community chats – which sees BGA representatives visiting communities across the island experiencing various forms of domestic violence.
