The Sound System is one of the loudest indicators of Jamaican culture, and has played a pivotal role in fostering our music’s evolution.  The large mobile discotheque, first established in the 1950s, provides musical entertainment at community dances, parties, fairs, nightclubs and more, is responsible for amplifying the voices of many now established reggae and dancehall artistes.  So, on today’s programme we visit 30 Headley Avenue, the birthplace one of Jamaica’s oldest Sound Systems Black Scorpio Sound
