The Ministry of Health and Wellness has officially launched its National Infant and Young Child Feeding Network which comprises approximately 38 support groups, healthcare staff, parish infant and young child feeding committees as well as hospital infant committees. eGov Jamaica Limited has launched its GovTechTalk Series for workers in the Government information sector. The GovTechTalk series, will be held on the fourth Friday of each month, with the exception of December 2019. It will focus on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plans and initiatives in the Government and will target ICT Heads across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). E-Learning Jamaica Company Limited e-LJam recently handed over 46 computer tablets to the Jamaica Physiotherapy Association, which will assist with the delivery of physiotherapy services in health facilities island wide. Persons are the Essex Hall Primary School are thankful for their new rainwater harvesting system constructed by Rural Water Supply Limited RWSL a cost of approximately 3 million. The system includes a ten thousand gallon storage tank, gutters and pipelines. State Minister at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, Alando Terrelonge, is renewing the call for adults to listen to the concerns of children and to protect their rights. Speaking at the recent launch of the Primary School Child Rights Creative Competition, Mr. Terrelonge said Jamaica has moved beyond the days when children were to be seen and not heard.
