Westmoreland is the home of the 2025 National Youth in Agriculture Champion. Her name: Lesannie Rose, sixth form student at Frome Technical High School. The eighteen-year-old student is a proud member of the Jamaica 4H club and a youth farmer.
Lesannie was filled with joy to have won the award in the Pimento Grafting category at the 71st Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show in Clarendon.
