Roundabout JA – Funds to Be Allocated to Help Address Sewerage Issues in Falmouth
The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is to allocate $4 million to help address sewerage challenges in Falmouth, Trelawny. The announcement was made by Portfolio Minister, Desmond McKenzie, during the official opening ceremony for the Falmouth Homeless Shelter on Friday May 5.

Miss Tanya Dawkins has been teaching for roughly 21 years and is currently a teacher at Port Antonio High School in Portland. She says she has always loved mathematics but discovered her passion for the subject as a student at Titchfield High school where she found that she could easily identify real-life applications for the information she was learning.
Falmouth Homeless Shelter Pt 2
You can hear the excitement in Patsy Wilson’s voice as she welcomes the opening of the new homeless shelter in Falmouth, Trelawny. The shelter is a far cry from the sleeping conditions she has grown accustomed to. Her bed, in recent years has been a chair at the waiting area of the Falmouth Public General Hospital. Ms. Patsy is homeless.

Jamaica’s Promise – FLOW Girls in ICT Expo
Over 200 girls from 18 high schools island wide, many of whom had never experienced coding before, participated in Flow Jamaica’s 2023 Girls in ICT Day Expo on April 27. Held under the theme, “Digital skills for life”, the expo allowed the young women to network with female Information, communication Technology (ICT) industry professionals.
Falmouth Homeless Shelter
There is a new shelter in town the town of Falmouth, to provide a haven for the increasing numbers of homeless persons in the area. The facility, which was officially opened on Friday, May 5, was built at a cost of $25 million dollars.
