NWA Assessing Bridges Following Earthquake

The National Works Agency, NWA, responsible for 736 bridges on Jamaica’s main road network has been assessing the structural integrity of some bridges, following last Monday’s 5.6 magnitude earthquake.

To ensure the safety of these structures, technical teams from the Agency are out assessing their structural integrity, especially in parishes which felt the greatest impact of the quake.
