When it comes to healthcare, access to affordable treatment matters. Imagine being sick, your doctor writes you a quite expensive prescription, and cost stands between you and recovery. Well, in this moment, having a National Health Fund (NHF) card will no doubt be of great help.
Like a regular health card, the NHF card provides discounts on certain drugs and diagnostic services. To access the benefit howevr, your condition must be covered under the programme. If it isn’t, you’ll need an alternative.
Here’s the good news: the programme now covers four additional health conditions.
The new conditions include heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and bladder cancer.
