The National Environment and Planning Agency NEPA will educating primary-school students and teachers in the protection of shore and water birds ahead of the May 22 observance of International Day for Biological Diversity. Approximately 70 students from 12 primary schools in the Education Ministry’s Region 6 will participate in a sensitization session at the Mount Nebo Primary School and Baptist Church in St. Catherine on May 16, geared at showing students how heir solid waste impacts the environment.
