Have you ever stopped and thought about what the life of an autistic child over the age of 18 is like? Or what was it like between these life phases? They too must face the harsh realities of transitioning from childhood to adulthood. The Mico University College Department of Special Education at their recent autism awareness seminar shed some light on this issue through firsthand experiences from parents, clinical professionals and autistic young people themselves.
