The Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology through the Universal Service Fund (USF) is on a mission to make access to the internet and related technologies commonplace. One of the USF’s key initiatives under this mandate has been the roll out of Community Access Points (CAPs) across the island. A CAP was recently established at the Maverly Primary and Junior High School in St. Andrew, part of efforts to further empower students at the institution and persons in the surrounding communities to live, work and do business in a technological age.
