On June 27, 1919, Marcus Garvey’s Black Star Line was incorporated in the state of Delaware in the United States. Fast-forward a century later, the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) in partnership with the Social Development Commission and other affiliates will host three days of activities to recognize the 100th anniversary of the enterprise founded by Jamaica’s first national hero.
