The water storage capacity at the Fort Augusta Adult Correctional Facility has been significantly improved with the donation of three black water tanks by Guardian Life Limited. The company also presented eight heavy-duty fans during a brief handover ceremony at the South Camp Road-based facility on Monday.

The delivery of primary healthcare to residents of Black River, St. Elizabeth has been boosted following the recent expansion and renovation of the Black River Health Centre. The facility now offers services relating to maternal and child health, as well as curative, dental, dressing, women’s health, nutrition, environmental health, mental health and child guidance.
