On January 10, 1977, a gift from the Government and the people of Cuba to Jamaica, was unpacked for the first time to students and staff. This was the day Jose Marti Technical High school opened its doors to foster academic and educational development, empowering minds and shaping futures. At their recent Founder’s Day celebration, the school reaffirmed their commitment to this motto 48 years later, announcing that their theme and objective for 2025 is to empower the future by honouring excellence.
