Jamaica’s Promise – St. James High Dejonie O’Connor Secures 11 CSEC Subjects

Westmoreland native and former St. James High School head girl, 17-year-old Dejonie O’Connor is celebrating tremendous success in her Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examinations in May/June of this year. She secured 11 passes to include six Grade Ones in English Language, Food and Nutrition, Human and Social Biology, Information Technology, Principles of Business, and Social Studies: two Grade Twos in Biology and Principles of Accounts, and three Grade Threes in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Despite being pleased with this accomplishment, Dejonie acknowledged that it was challenging, but she was determined to keep going.
