Jamaica’s Promise – St. Elizabeth Junior Council

Junior Councilors from 14 divisions across St. Elizabeth convened at the St. Elizabeth Municipal Corporation on Tuesday, November 26 for the sitting of the parish’s junior council. The occasion? A special sitting as part of the celebrations for the recently concluded 2024 Local Government and Community Month. The sitting was held under the theme “Local Government at Work: Facing the Future Together”, and it featured presentations from the young representatives on longstanding community challenges, complete with innovative solutions.
