Jamaica’s Promise – Kemps Hill High Celebrates CSEC Success

Kemps Hill High School is among several secondary schools on the National School Learning and Intervention Plan (NSLIP) that recorded improved performance in the 2025 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) English and Mathematics examinations. In 2024 the school recorded a pass rate of 24% and 2.5% respectively in both subjects but according to principal Karen Charlton-Boothe after applying what the ministry describes as the ‘tactical approach’ those numbers grew affording them a pass rate of 56% in CSEC English and 31% in CSEC Math for 2025.
