We are often told that “health is wealth,” and that truth certainly rang true at Edith Dalton James High School’s School and Community Annual Health Fair on Thursday, November 28.  First held in 2017, as a blood drive, school nurse Mynion Reynolds conceptualized the annual health fair, to support not only the health needs of her students but also those of the wider community.

Jamaica’s Promise – Charlemont High Celebrates CSEC Upward Trajectory
Principal of the St. Catherine-based Charlemont Garth Gayle says his school is on an upward trajectory after recording an exemplary performance in this year’s Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations. The students maintained an 81% pass rate in CSEC English Language and more than doubled performance numbers in Mathematics moving from a 16% pass rate to 36%.
