That’s how members of the Jamaica Senior Women’s Cricket Team felt after receiving a $6.8 million dollar incentive cheque from the Ministry of Culture Gender Entertainment and Sport. The women were recognized for their continued outstanding performances in regional women’s cricket over the years especially their 2024 season. In 2024 the Jamaica Senior Women’s Cricket Team were crowned regional double champions following wins in the Super50 and T20 Blaze tournaments.
