This year Customer Service Week, which runs from Sunday October 6 to Saturday October 12 is being observed under the theme: Service Excellence: Our Service Our Life. This year’s theme was selected not only to highlight the importance of customer service but to go beyond that concept to the idea of service excellence. Deputy Chairman of the Jamaica Customer Service Association Richard Rowe says service excellence affects both businesses and the lives of who they serve. He says employers are also being encouraged to use the week to celebrate customer service providers in their organisations.
