Jamaica Celebrating Senior Citizens Week

Roundabout JA | September 26, 2019
‘Older Persons: Partners in Social, Cultural and Economic Development’. That’s the theme for Senior Citizens’ Week being observed from September 22 to October 1. The Ministry of Labour and Social Security will recognise the contributions of the elderly to national development during the annual celebrations. Activities began with the launch at the Spanish Court Hotel in New Kingston last Friday, followed by a national church service on September 22 at Grace Baptist Church in Clarendon.
