This year marks the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the ‘Mother of Jamaican Culture’, Louise Bennett-Coverley, or as we all affectionately call her ‘Miss Lou’. The inaugural ‘Miss Lou’ Festival was held recently in the Gordon Town community square named in her honour.
