Along the North coast in the parish of Hanover is the quiet town of Hopewell. It’s close to the border of St James and not too far from the parish capital, Lucea. For persons living in the area, the Hopewell Health Centre is one the main locations for medical treatment.
Recently the Hopewell facility became party to an initiative that will see it better supporting members of the community and surrounding areas.
On August 8 the facility became the 58th health centre to be adopted under the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Adopt-a-Clinic programme, putting it on a path to modernization and improvement. The facility was adopted by the Tryall Fund.
