HIV Discrimination Campaign

What if you or someone you know tested positive for HIV. This type of situation can alter the course of your life for better or worse, depending on how you deal with it. Will the diagnosis prevent you from finding work to take care of yourself and family?  And, will the stigma associated with HIV prevent you from accessing vital healthcare?

Those are questions faced by many persons living with HIV in Jamaica. The stigma surrounding the disease is still prevalent in the modern Jamaican society and the National Family Planning Board (NFPB) is working to change that narrative, through their Champions for Change campaign.
