What if you’re on the bus going home and the person sitting beside you stopped breathing. Would you be able to help to save the person’s life?
If you’re answer’s no, then the Heart Foundation of Jamaica would be able to help you with the skills you’ll need to do so. That skill is Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or (CPR).
HFJ is celebrating CPR Week this week from August 21 to 25, under the theme ‘When Seconds Count, Count on CPR’.
Senior Manager for Health Services, Monique Willis, says the goal of the activities is to raise awareness about the life-saving technique.
