Fifty Two Persons in Westmoreland to Receive New NHT Homes

Fifty two persons living in Darliston Grove and Shrewsbury, in Westmoreland have received keys to new homes from the National Housing Trust (NHT). The units, built under the NHT’s Labour and Small Materials Programme, were officially handed over during a ceremony on December 4. With schools out until September, teachers and administrators have had to get creative in order to ensure students can continue receiving their lessons. The principal of the Little Bay All Age and Infant School, Keron King, has chosen to personally deliver worksheets and lessons to students, sometimes using a motorbike he rides himself.
