The Housing Agency of Jamaica HAJ is looking to provide 500 land titles by the end of this financial year on March 31. Senior Manager for Community Development at the HAJ, Nakia McMorris says the agency has already finalized more than 400 land titles since April 2018, and work continues to increase that number.

Ninety-one unattached youth from several communities in Kingston and St. James are to benefit from skills training under a 50-million dollar Youth Empowerment Training Initiative. The initiative is being implemented by the Ministry of National Security and the Citizen Security and Justice Programme CSJP III, and will engage the youngsters in intensive training over a 12-month period.
