Its no secret that service delivery at the hospitals in the island’s West have been seriously tested following Hurricane Melissa.
Many have been able to stay up and running thanks to the support of numerous charitable organizations, both locally and overseas.
The Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH), in St. James, is among the latest to benefit from such support, recently receiving a donation of medical supplies and equipment valued at more than $1.2 million from the Bahamas-based Hummingbirds Association.
