Each year thousands of Jamaicans benefit from social welfare services offered by the government. One of the flagship programmes through which this happens is the Programme of Advancement Through Health and Education (PATH).
Hundreds of persons are involved in its execution each year, but among them one has been particularly instrumental. That name is Colette Roberts Risden, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
