On Friday April 19 the Ministry of Education and Youth made the first stop on its Tertiary Recruitment Drive at Manchester High School in Mandeville in an effort to introduce students to the range of programme offerings available at various higher education institutions Speaking at the Recruitment Drive, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and Youth, Marsha Smith, highlighted that the initiative aligns with the recommendation of the Jamaica Education Transformation Commission, and sought to address the issue of low enrolment across public higher education institutions. She encourages the students to seek higher education.
