At the recent Utech Jamaica Research Technology and Innovation Day 2026 the school’s President Dr Kevin Brown highlighted how the day’s theme “Impactful STEM Research for Powering Development” spoke true to the mission of the university.

Innovation, technology, and groundbreaking ideas were on display at the University of Technology, Jamaica as students and researchers gathered for Research Day.  From artificial intelligence and robotics to solutions for real-world problems, the event highlighted how research is shaping the future in Jamaica.
