Local agri-business Dencon Foods set to purchase up to 400,000 pounds of Irish potatoes from the Government.

Due to the downturn in the tourism sector a number of  farmers have an excess of produce on their hands. Dencon Food Limited in Clarendon is among the private sector companies answering the call to support the agri-sector. As such the company has agreed to purchase up to 400,000 pounds of Irish potatoes from the government. Find out more about this initiative on this edition of Calling Farmers.
