Lately we’ve been walking through a tour (of sorts) of The African Caribbean Institute of Jamaica/Jamaica Memory Bank exhibition: “Dancehall Male Fashion.”
We can’t take you physically to 12 Ocean Boulevard, but we’ve dug deep into the conversations at the opening of the exhibit earlier this year. The voices invited to the space provided an immersion in our local fashion industry.
Today we bring you thoughts from one of its multi-hyphenate practitioners and stakeholders.
Representing Edna Manley College of the Visual Arts where he lectures, the Jamaica Business Development Corporation where he is a Design Consultant and Carlton Brown at which he’s had a long-standing partnership, Robert Hall shared space at the podium.
