Young Animators, Script Writers and Artists! Time is running out for you to be part of the biggest thing the Jamaican animation industry has ever seen.

The university partnered with the Institute of Jamaica’s Music Museum to mount the “Honouring 50 years of Jamaican Music’ exhibit which was dedicated to the island’s musical journey.

The Ministry of Tourism and Entertainment is looking to maximize the economic potential of the country’s cultural product, through the staging of two major entertainment events. ‘90 Days of Summer’ and ‘Kingston in February’ will target locals as well as visitors to the island.

It is important to us to give people the opportunity to understand their Independence, appreciate it, hold it, taste it, love it and we wanted, for those persons who are not able to get out there and see one of the big stage shows, to also give them the best of what Jamaica has to offer, both locally and internationally
